Vanity Fair OSCARS AFTERPARTY: Best Dressed

Wow what can I say about the Oscars… it was definitely entertaining coming from someone who never sits through an entire award show. But apart from the performances and fashion trends on the Red Carpet. It is always a major attraction especially to us fashion obsessed to see what the celebs are wearing to the infamous Vanity Fair Oscar’s Afterparty! PLEASE JESUS GET ME AN INVITE TO THAT.

I’ve found my top looks from this year’s event and my standouts are for sure to get people jumping on the trends for this year’s party season.

The Little Black Dress isn’t so little this year… why not try this look out by picking a dress with a more edgy vibe. I love Rita Ora’s lace see-through dress and this style is becoming very popular with several online stores. Miley’s deep plunging neckline still has sophistication as the rest of the dress covers her arms and legs. Finally, Kendall *BOWS DOWN* looks incredible but this is for those of you risk takers, she leaves little to the imagination, but although the dress barely covers her endless legs she still pulls it off effortlessly.

Winnie Harlow dazzled in this incredible number and of course, the baby pink colour accentuates her glowing skin. I wouldn’t say the over the top tulle detail is for every day but it works here. Alessandra Ambrosio also chose a flowy baby blue colour and Chrissy Teigen wore a peach feathered number. All these ladies chose colours that are very bright and angelic, which always translates well in images and is a great way to switch it up if you are used to wearing black.

Ashley Graham’s off the shoulder pantsuit I am living for! Instead of wearing the typical suit teaming the pants with a matching jacket or blouse that is loose and less structured creates a more feminine look to a masculine outfit. Emily’s little peplum number is drop down gorgeous and very elegant, I do love the champagne colour of this dress as it is perfect for summer and it is a unique take of a more bridal look.

I have found some dresses from a few of my favourite stores and thought I’d share them below for you. Here are my top picks for you to replicate a similar style to the celebrity looks above.
