Its been a hell of a while since I last sat down at my SUPER LARGE 27″ iMac to write a blog post! I have just got back from what felt like one of the longest holidays I have ever been on. I was gone for a little over 5 weeks and in that time took over 10 separate flights. NEVER AGAIN! Let me tell you I didn’t like the airport before my trip and I sure am never getting a job there ever. Between the delays, added costs, anxiety at luggage weigh-ins and long queues I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather be… but here in my bedroom in my Peter Alexander robe and UGG Australia combo OOTD.
So, now I’m done with my rant about the airports… Let’s get down to the best parts of my trip to Paris. As I’m writing this I will be completely honest in telling you that I’m trying to catch up on trash TV and watch all the episodes of Very Cavallari, RHOC, Shahs of Sunset, Keeping Up before I jet off to LONDON for my big ass (quarter of a life crisis) move.
So first things first, Paris! One of my favourite cities. Actually, I lie, this was my favourite city before I headed to Italy which I will get too later on in my blog. We got to Paris super early in the morning which meant NO NO to check in (thank you, let me just stay in my dirty 24-hour airplane clothes) I’m a little biased when it comes to Paris, mainly because my dad lived there for some time. I stayed in a super cute hotel with amazing Parisian windows… like I fell in love. So where should you go when visiting the city of LOVE??
Firstly, EIFFEL TOWER- Hello, if there is one thing you need to see its this for sure.
Secondly, LOUVRE- If you like a little art then definitely get in early and see the amazing pieces of art and obviously the Mona Lisa.
Thirdly, MOULIN ROUGE- I’ve seen it twice and both times were epic! It may be a little pricey but it is for sure worth it.
Fourthly, NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL- for all those Christians out there. No, but seriously its very beautiful!
L’AVENUE- For those celebrity obsessed that want to live the same life. This frequent hotspot is one of those places you order a very small side from.
ARC DE TRIOMPHE- This is located right near one of the best streets in Paris Champs-Élysées.
Unfortunately, I was only in Paris for 3 days so I didn’t get to see much nightlife. However just walking the streets and finding local eateries that weren’t hustling and bustling with tourists was good enough for me.
